LADIES - Can you tell?
Do you feel some heat coming at you from a generally south-west direction? That's me directing my ire towards you...Hate to tell you this, but my hair does that. The motorcycle helmet is the best flattening iron I've ever had.

My hair now = your hair in 2 - 3 (or probably 6 or 7) inches. The best I can do is a chunky braid OR somedays, if I'm feeling really wild an Amazon pony tail halfway between the top of my head and the middle of the back.
A good, old braid usually does it for me. You just have to be sure to plait it down far enough that the ends don't really have a chance to blow around. My hair looks like "crumb" after being on the bike!! I need to find another way to fix it...ugh. It also takes me hours to comb out all the knots.
Hmmm... maybe one of these days I'll go crazy and do braided pig-tails, Pippi-Longstocking style...

Well the thing was that my hair sticks up anyways and was about three inches long at that point, so add bleach and you get a fro. Usually I spike my hair so texture doesn't matter much, but it's currently all natural and soft.

Anyone out there ever have a horrible dye-job/haircut?
And back on topic:
Yes you can tell if it's a man or a woman on the bike because of the way they move.

I did highlight my hair once to bring out some blonde in it, but ended up not liking it and getting stuck with it for a long time. Normally it's a mix of brown, blonde and red, so adding a bunch of extra gold/blonde wasn't the best ideaKitty wrote:Anyone out there ever have a horrible dye-job/haircut?

When you take your helmet off, try to slide it up and back off your head, or else your hair will catch on the sides of the helmet and leave it in a big mess. As for riding on the freeway, i guess the only thing to do is to braid it, or tuck it in behind your shirt or in your helmet.

or else just follow these easy steps after parking. (in front of a bunch of guys)
1 Wear very shapely gear
2 get off bike all lady like
3 slowly take off helmet
4 flip hair
5 wave
6 wink
7 blow them a kiss
8 giggle
9 walk off, swing hips
10 look back, admire men passed out on floor

I use a Buff to contain my hair under my helmet. I turn it inside out, tie one end closed with a small rubber band and then turn it right side out again. I then slip the buff over my head and tuck my pony tail into the length of the buff. That way I have an instant helmet liner and my hair stays tangle free =). I have waist length hair and this works like a charm. I never get tangles.NightNurse wrote:My hair looks like "crumb" after being on the bike!! I need to find another way to fix it...ugh.
