Another Edmontonian

Gawd....will it stop snowing already???

Hello there, Hi, nice to meet all of you. Have been reading the forums for the last few months. Learnt a few things, shook my head at a few things and enjoyed all of it.

Still classify myself as a very new rider, having learnt on a little kawasaki cruiser spent a summer on a Suzuki S40 and S50. Nice bikes, all of them but after all that, I'm just not a cruiser type person. Didn't find them very comfy.

Now I'm starting at square one again, I'm on my dream bike, the one I've been looking for all winter.

Not slamming the S40 or S50, they are wonderful wonderful bikes to learn on. Very forgiving but still had that "oomph" of power to make you respect it.

So if you see a fairly cautious rider out there taking her time, couple extra seconds to do checks, etc, don't lay on the horn at me please. We all gotta start somewhere.

Hehehe...I would never bash your bike. My partner enjoys her S50 immensely and is immersed in the world of accessories. Do you have saddlebags? I'm buying a set for her b-day for the bike

Immensely and immersed...thank god for spell check!!

I have found on the cruiser style bikes that my back kills me. Not good when I want to get longer rides in to some of the park areas around Edmonton.

You know some people say you find a bike that just fits you perfectly. Thats my Bandit!

I picked up a set of Tourmaster Slant saddlebags. Unfortunately, the area you can place the bags is small so you're stuck with small / medium saddlebags. When I installed them, I had to cut out some of the overlapping leather to get the seat back on right. You can also see more pics with them on my bike Here.
