Oh it's so awesome. Now that I've finally done it, I know I'll never be without a bike.

The first few days on the bike, I thought forget it. I cant do this, I will stick to being a passenger  . How dumb...lol. I can't wait for tomorrow to come, we will ride almost 200 miles! Today got in about 60 or so miles...

Haha :) I honestly don't remember what my first days were like, they were years ago (my Dad taught me, including a MSF course, then for years I didn't even sit on a bike).

It's been rainy and crappy around here, but tomorrow it's supposed to be sunny and warm and we are so hitting the road!

Financing will be tough, probably impossible at 17 without a cosigner or another means of securing the loan beyond the bike itself (savings or CD secured). Once you are 18 and have established a credit history it will become easier.

You will probably qualify for student loans, which are not credit based. If the loan exceeds the cost of tuition, perhaps there will be enough for something used...

just a thought.
