It's been rainy and crappy around here, but tomorrow it's supposed to be sunny and warm and we are so hitting the road!

I honestly don't remember what my first days were like, they were years ago (my Dad taught me, including a MSF course, then for years I didn't even sit on a bike).

Financing will be tough, probably impossible at 17 without a cosigner or another means of securing the loan beyond the bike itself (savings or CD secured). Once you are 18 and have established a credit history it will become easier.z310 wrote:So I'll start with some basic information about myself. I'm Garrett, and I'm 17 getting ready for college. I live in California. Soon I will be without any form of transportation, besides public, to college and where ever I'll work.
You will probably qualify for student loans, which are not credit based. If the loan exceeds the cost of tuition, perhaps there will be enough for something used...
just a thought.
