Went on my first big ride yesterday!

Woooohoo! Went on the freeway for the first time today! Over a bridge, damn it was windy!!! We rode all over the city, hit some bike shops, and saw some areas I had never been in. It was really fun.

MINUS the fact that I got stung by a huge hornet!!!!!!! The boyfriend was riding in front, me behind him, and another friend in the back. I thought a leaf fell on my hand or something. I had this damn thing stuck in my hand for a block, before it was safe to stop! I cant believe I didnt freak out...my hand got really swollen, but if thats the worst thing that happened today - who cares

wow! im jealous. The weather here was nice too but i had so much to do today i only got to ride a little.

That suck about the hornet, but its great you didnt panic. Did you have gloves on?

My two new rider friends came over with their all new Vstar 650's (husband and wife). Looked like nice bikes! Im really not much of a cruiser guy but im not a total sport bike guy either. I really like naked bikes and standard bikes the best.

Im proud of you night nurse. YOu did so well today! Well done!

Thanks! Sounds dorky, but I was proud of myself! Got a lot of great practice in today.

No, actually no gloves. I took them off, as they were getting hard to ride in! We were on our way to the next shop, I was going to buy new ones. I think mine were just to big. I got a mens small, just bought some womens gloves today. Just my luck the damn hornet found me! My boyfriend is TERRIFIED of bees! He couldnt believe I just kept going with it in my hand. He would have been screaming ( ya sure tough guy

lol!

Tomorrow the weather will be really nice! Make sure get out

Our friend that joined us, has a brand new Honda Interceptor. Looks nice! And he loves it.

I think she's in Tennessee or someplace thereabouts...... considering I'm sitting in New Jersey typing this, "efficient" wouldn't exactly be the word!!!
