That wouldn't make sense. You want to keep the bike in gear in case you need to move outta the way of someone/something.LINK398 wrote:When coming to a stop on a motorcycle couldn't you just put it into neutral and then brake?
All this stuff is taught in the MSF basic rider course. You should check it out.
For general stuff, you should take your peepers over here:

They do not teach maintainance. Like the drivers ed course does not teach you to maintain a car. You can go and take a motorcycle maintainance class or something, or do like others, get a manual and some tools and work at it.LINK398 wrote:Do they teach maintanence? How to change tires? What about when to get oil changes? Where to put the fluids to make it run?
Many people simply take their bikes to the dealer to maintain.
What girl are you mentioning in the video? There are two and I'm sitting with both of them atm.

1) Take MSF to learn how to ride and skip the driving test. They provide the bikes.LINK398 wrote:Long Island
2) Buy service manual and hang out here.
3) Talk less, listen more.
Don't take #3 the wrong way, but all of the questions you've asked so far have already been answered on the forums. Read the stickies, read threads, absorb information give to others.
Feel free to send me an IM to bounce these random questions off someone, too.
