The wife just passed her MSF and is ready to go!! I ran across two bikes.
1983 Yamaha Virago 500 w/10.9k miles excellent shape for $1600.00
1984 Honda NightHawk 700s 12000 miles (Literally showroom condtion) for $2010.00
Are these good prices?? They seem high But the Nighthawk is absolutely awesome. Virago in great shape too but will need tires.
(I would take the Nighthawk and give my wife my 2001 GS500)
WifeNewbie What Bike??

I don't know which OEM (if either) still has any parts for bikes that old. If one did, that would be my choice as something else maybe broke but not known. i.e. Master brake cylinder, clutch, cracked tires/tubes, brake pads, cables, etc...
The other is which has the most built in total. For bone yard searches on parts and lower costs due to a more common bike generally.
