They don't make a bike for beginners, the Bonnevilles are the closest to a beginner bike.

im sorry but you cant say always. My grandfather has been riding for 50 years and has not once dropped a bike. Me im still a noob but ive ridden just shy of 3k miles in less than a year (damn winter) and havent dropped it yet.safety-boy wrote:I have not even seen one in person, but understand it is a beast. It is a supersport to be sure. If a 250 feels like a lot of bike, you'll want to admire the supersports from a distance. Besides, you always drop a bike when you are a new rider - always... Better to drop something inexpensivedrsfinest29 wrote:has anyone heard about the new triumph daytona 675? has anyone took a ride in one?

If the deal is really too good to pass and you are willing to actually park it this could work. Check on storage insurance for bikes that are not ridden. Get something small and cheap to learn on and resist the temptation to take out the R6 until you are ready. Be aware that it may be more than one season until you are ready to move up. IMHO many move up before they are ready.drsfinest29 wrote:i am gonna take it but i wanted to know should i still buy the ninja to get expirience on it and store the r6 for a season? or should i just ride the r6 and try getting used to its reactions since its fairly a bigger bike
yup I almost did until I finally rode with a passenger. that right there told me I wasnt ready to move up yet.JCS wrote:If the deal is really too good to pass and you are willing to actually park it this could work.
