What did you use to crimp them? And did you strip the wires first so that you could make a connection across the wire itself and not the insulation?
I striped a little bit of the insulation from both sides (1/2 cm) and I stuck them both in the thing in Johnj's post, and I crunched it together with a pair of plyers. I even tried directly holding together the two wires with my glove on and switching the kill switch.

For clarification, I'm supposed to crimp the two wires that came from the kill switch box together right? Tracing the two wires all the way would require cutting up a big tube that goes down to the battery.

I think something got messed up when I threw out the dash... I cut everything that went into the dash to get it out. But that means that the wires I cut to get the dash out must be still there, but when I looked there was no cut wires that matched the colors coming from the kill switch... Maybe because I'm only getting 3 hours of sleep per night my brain is messing with me... Ah I have to get back to studying... I'll try this again tomorrow.

Stop cutting wires, Dude.

Get yourself a wiring diagram and trace out the correct wires and test them with a meter, just to be sure. Or take it to a shop and have them do it.
No Witnesses.... :shifty:
