Yamaha XJ Eleven Special

Bloke down the street from me has one for sale in good condition.

Anyone had any experience with these? Scary thing is it has 53000 on it! But i think i can get it for less than $1000! It will be my second bike as my little GZ250 has done its time.

Its an 1100 I think from about 1980 or so.

53000 miles? that's it?

it's been babied if its mileage is that 'low'

I routinely ride 10000+ miles per year, so 53000 miles for a 20+ year old bike is nothing to worry about, unless the bike hasn't been well maintained.

It is in good shape. One owner that got it serviced every year kept indoors.

Has this big faring on the front of it with a radio and two speakers in it.

Felt bad for the seller as he said he cant ride anymore as his arthritus has got so bad
