Selling a bike--buyer anoyed the heck out of me

#1 Unread post by jonbailey19808 »

So im selling my little GZ250 and a guy comes to look at it.

He was about 18 and he drives up in his car with his girlfriend, then his buddy pulls up behind him who is a total squid. No helmet, sneakers, t shirt on his mega hot sports bike.

The guy thinking about buying it seemed nice but his friend annoyed the heck out of me.

I tell him about it a little and i start it up so he can hear the engine run. Buyer can not ride yet but his signed up for MSF.

Squiddy sits on the bike (without asking) revs it a little, then pulls away and drives off (without even freaking asking). I say to the buyer 'your friend is a jerk' and he kind of agreed.

5 mins later squid is back from his test ride. Pulls in and says 'how do you get it to wheelie?'. Its a freakin 250 cruiser!

I was so mad he just rode off without even asking me if he could test ride.

Anyone else had a similar experiance?

When he came back he'd have found me sitting on his bike.

So, that is why the Honda dealership hates me. ;)

Kidding!

That does sound obnoxious. Maybe next time he will bring HIS girlfriend and you can kiss her while he is away.

I cannot image anybody, ever doing anything like that. What a "O Ring".

What I can image being in your shoes is while the "O Ring" is riding your bike is to walk and have a look the at the jerks bike. Turning the petcock to Reserve. What goes around, comes around. I certainly would not want him stuck at my house. This is if I could think clearly at the time as I would be so pissed.

Dang! what a creep that friend was. If that ever happened, I'd hope by the time he returned I'd have sufficiently recovered to close my gaping mouth and had some idea of a darn good reaction. Yeesh.
Ya right, there are only 2 kinds of bikes: It's a Ninja... look that one's a Harley... oh there's a Ninja... Harley...Ninja...
