same thing, i guess some people call it bump some call it push. Everytime I have done it I either get it going by running along side it and jumping on or by rolling down a hill or have someone push. Put it into second and pop the clutch, the engine should grab, it'll sputter, and you'll get going....

Yamaha XS650 -- electric and kick start. Made from 1968 or so through 1983.
Also, dual-purpose bikes like the Honda XL500/XL600 have very minimal electrics -- they don't look "cool" though, they look like dirtbikes. I'd like one, though.
