She is already committed, make sure she takes it real easy. Even dropping this bike over could be costly but more important tell her to be careful when she rides.

Take care of her, women that ride are cool!

No real can of worms, just good discussion :D . The general concensous is that it is potentially too much bike for her. She surely will not be able to utilize 25% of it's capability for the first year anyway, so why not get something that is better suited to her capabilities? She needs to understand that bikes are not fashion accesories.......
As for pics, got to photobucket.com and upload your pics. Copy the "img" tag line underneath your uploaded picture and paste it in your post here. Hope this helps.

No can of worms from my perspective- just an interesting discission. And I'll tell you, it sure is refreshing to be involved with a long thread on a board where people can see different sides of things without turning it into an argument and start comparing each other to Hitler. Sorry if we bummed you out Dennis27 - it was kind of all theoretical for me after a point anyway. You obviously know what's going on with your own situation better than any of us, we're all just babbling on about our own what-ifs and suppositions.

There is not a lot of real world performance difference between an F-4I and the FZ6. They have similair power and the F4I has a more solid chassis......
Darn, wish I'd have known this going in. I would've looked at the F4i a little harder. Oh well, I love my FZ and I saved some dough.

I agree with the discussion. I think it's a good debate and it's nice to see everyone express their opinions in a constructive way and not resorting to name calling. I stopped going to some boards for that reason.

Yes this has been a good thread.. I was joking about the can of worms... anyhow I rode the bike again last night and it is the real deal. This bike is FAST... a night and day difference between it and my ZR-7S.. for comparison purposes only... It’s like driving your moms Buick (my bike) then hopping into Porsche 911 turbo (R6) The throttle on this bike is sooo responsive the slightest twist and the front end is ready to come off the ground... I can’t even imagine the power in an R1 or any of the other over 600 class super sport bikes. As for the pics... I'll try the suggestion about photo bucket tonight if I get a chance.

Thanks man! I might take you up on that offer if I cant get the photo bucket thing to work... shouldent it be as easy and cutting and pasting...I have some stupid sony pic. viewer software that makes it rather challenging to save the pic in the "my pics" folder then just cut and paste the image to this thread... I didnt have a whole lot time last night to try but I'll work on it again tonight. Thanks again for the offer I might end up taking you up on it.
