Hey Y'allfrom the Peach State

Greetings from Georgia's capital city. I'm a new newbie to the world of biking. Still shopping for a starter bike and having trouble passing the new Harley dealership without stopping in for a visit. My boss, a lifelong biker, suggested starting with something "light weight", but I'm overwhelmed by all the different models. Any suggestions?

:welcome2:
For starters, read the Beginner Biker sticky in the New Bikers Forum.
I always follow the rules.
The only exception to the rule occurs when I make an exception to the rule not to make an exception to the rule and that only occurs under exceptional circumstances.

Welcome, nitch....

Are you interested in a cruiser style or a sport bike style or a touring style?

Ninja 250's are good beginner sport style bikes while a V-Star 650 is a good cruiser.

Depends on what you like.
