I just picked up my new bike, a used 2007 yamaha 650 v-star silverado, and I'm excited about the days to come on the road. Took my daughter out last weekend and just rode around the neighborhood...Wow! This bike handles like a charm and it has just enough power for me. I don't go too fast. I'm signed up for the MSF BRC the first weekend in July since I haven't rode for about 20 years. I did go take the CO written test, passed and got my temporary permit. I didn't realize how much I missed riding until I took that first spin around the block solo. If you're in the Springs and want to take a day trip, PM me.

The 650 V-Star makes a good "come back" bike.

Congratulation on the new V-Star. A co-worker of mine bought one for his wife a couple weeks ago. He let me have a whirl on it and I was quite impressed now balance it was.

And great location you're at. I had the opportunity to stay in your fine city a few years back for training at FrontRange. I love old downtown. Very fine establishments indeed.
