That's a pretty vague description of the problem. Care to elaborate?

Basically, any bike should run well from the the time it's first started. "Break-in" refers to the piston rings seating themselves in the cylinder walls. A bike may burn a bit more oil than normal until this happens, but it should still run well. Sounds to me like your dealer is blowing smoke. If it's not running well now, it's probably not going to cure itself in 1000-1500 miles.

I think you hit your caps lock button or something.

Or are you trying to make some kind of point with the caps?

I have an 05 c50. The only problem i had was getting used to the floorboards and heel/toe shifter. I kept trying to use the heel portion of the shifter as a footrest at first.

Before you pull out again, tap your shifter just to make sure you didnt click it up into 2nd. or in my case 3rd once. I also find moving my foot so my heel is just about even with the toe portion of the shifter, then sliding it back onto the board eliminates 99% of my "trying to pull out in 2nd" scenarios.

Or Learn to keep your left foot on the boards and balance the bike on your right foot at stops.

I'm just guessing here since the other posters are right about the vaugeness of your description. Have you checked your rear fender to make sure you arent towing a pack of wild moose? That would mess with my starts and stops.
