... wow, I've got... 28000km on mine, and 5000 of that is this year. The rest was the last two seasons! You have a LOT of catching up to do Kaiser.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

6500 km? Bah! I've been riding my baby for ~2 months and have 1600 miles on it. That's about 2500km so - at the rate I'm going, I'll have 15k on the bike at the end of its first riding year. :D

Jeez. I put 600 miles on my bike last month (bought it halfway through the month) and 800 on it so far this month. And I'm not even trying hard. I have yet to go on one real trip with it.

Jesus Friggen Mary & Joseph and Lao Tzu!!!!

Where the hell am I Europe?

I'm in America Damnit! Don't make us invade you!!!

Tell me these mysterious numbers you speak of in my native toungue of Miles Per Hour, Not your contemporary "avant-garde" KM lexicon.

That said, Don't worry, the more you ride the better.

My first bike (CB-750) I put 8000 miles on it in the North-east winter between october and febuary.

My second bike (sv1000s) I put 1500 miles on it the first week I had it.

As for now, my VTX1800, I currently have about 16250 miles on it after 2.5 years...I know I'm kinda ashamed! But then again I did get a nice new car too...so I can't be blamed totally...

100 KM a month is cake. The other folks who question that must be recreational riders.

When I traded in my Sportster it was just a couple hundred miles shy of 25,000 miles and was less than 2 years old. Several folks didn't want a bike with that "high" mileage.

My new bike has over 3,000 miles on it, and it is a month and a half old.

Just keep riding......

100 km???? That's an average day for me in the summer! Well used to be.. not quite right now but in a few weeks 100km/day is normal.

Dude, you're in California - your mileage should be TWICE that of mine.

You should be, that's less kilometerage ( :P ) than what I have on my 1 3/4 yr old Ural. And less than what I've put on my street bikes in the last 2 years... y'all need to get out there and ride some more.

I would imagine lots of the people are newbs, buy the super sport, get scared by its power, never learn to ride it well so they just sell.
