So I got my permit

#1 Unread post by bebopin64 »

I went to the DPS today to renew my licence and while I was there I decided to go ahead and take the written. So I took it and now have a permit. Going to take MSF course when I get back from Colorado and get the full licence. I have to say that the test was really easy. I hope that the MSF course weeds out stupid and/or incapable drivers because the written sure as hell didn't.

Sadly, based on my experience taking the MSF class, you'd have to be truly inept to fail the beginners course.

The government is trying to figure out why motorcycle fatalities are rising too. Maybe if they made it halfway difficult to get a licence my parents wouldn't keep telling me I'm stupid and am going to kill myself. The only licence that is hard to get is a PPL but flying is not that much harder than riding safely

Why should it be difficult to get a license?

Go out for a 1000 mile ride, and count the amount of cage drivers who shouldn't be allowed on the road for trying to kill you.
