2008 model year.
big changes this year for the touring model family. ABS is standard/optional. they most likely will be Brembos like the v-rods, as ive seem the master cylinders and they apper to be brembo M/C of the vrods. 18" wheel. Fat 1.5'-1.66' handlebars. Fly-by-wire throttles. Ive seem the new SE 58mm Fly-by wire throttle body for touring models only. THere is one-two new models too.
All bikes will have 25mm axles. this means new chrome front ends.
One new model is a dyna FXDF. this might be the model mentioned elsewhere in this forum. the F would be the F in FLSTF which is a Fat boy. so maybe real big tires? would seem likely. What looks like a whole new color pallete. most of the colors ive never heard of. Purple Sportster? Red demin paint. Dark blue demin paint. One color stood out as seemingly vomit ugly, cant wait to see. it is Olive pearl denim. nasty. also for the christian bikers "GOD White". dont know what that is either.
100-113ci kits with new heads. these have optional electronic compresion releases. they will plug directly into the wiring harness, so they are already set up for it, stock.

I went to the local Haley dealer yesterday, they have a colour book for the '08 lineup already on display in the show room. That Crimson Red Denim is going to look great on a bike!CentralOzzy wrote:Do you have a 'LINK' to this information.....or is it in Print only?

The link is my employeer. HD. I an a mechanic in a dealership in Japan. my info comes from the "New accessories for 2008" book they sent out last week or so. When you see that they have all new chrome lower kits because they swithched to 25mm axles like the fat boys this year, you can deduce many things. As in there is a part number and picture for a FXDWG, you know that this model has not been cancelled like others have said. Bobtail fender kits, is where you get a color listing. and so on. Much of it is in Japanese, which i do ok in, but the dealer kind of doesnt inform me of everything. I also really dont pay attention to all that stuff anyway.
