being pretty new i was actually a little apprehensive about going out on a day of celebration. but near the end of the day my wife took our daughter to the park and i followed on the bike. just a few miles around the corner. but i got out today and that's good enough i guess. not as good as going down hwy 64 over jordan lake, but it was good.

I got up early and went for a ride up Sepulveda Blvd from West Los Angeles to the valley.

It's a street that runs parallel to the 405 freeway and has some twisties.
If I ride up there early (6:30am), there is very little traffic and I fantasize that I'm in the country. I can smell the sage and feel the temperature go up as I ride down into the valley. It's beautiful.

Parked it and went mountain biking. Too many people, too many cops.

Rained out down here in Florida, but got some work done...tune up wise. I had full day of riding planned on Beeline (great riding hwy for speed), but it was a wash. Taking the bike to Daytona this weekend for the Pepsi 500...nice.

It rained all day. The bike was left in the garage and I stared at it longingly...

Complications with the bank and moving. The bike is physically fine and well protected in a climate controlled storage facility that I like to call mom's.
