Sorry this is the first time I've seen this thread. This really sounds to me like a heat issue. Either fuel vaporising in one of the lines, or an air leak in the engine block, when it heats up and the metal expands.
May be worth seeing if you can find someone with a compression tester, you can borrow

I went to the suzuki shopw and talked to the service manager. I described the problems and what I had done,
He said its probably the float needle. He told me they get kind of expensive. Its only about a centimeter long though. Stupid expensive specialized parts.
They are rbber tipped and he said if they get damaged just a little bit they can leak. When i inspected them the rubber seemed intact and didnt have any significant deformation. To my knowledge they have never been replaced, he said they like to replace them after about 5 years. He said if i brought the bike in they would synchronize the carburetors and everything. Told me parts and serivce could be about $400.
The needle float needles could be as much as $200 fo a set of 4.
I can replace the needles but i cant synch carburetors if they need synchronizing.

That $200 for 4 float needles better include the labor to put them in. You can get them at bike bandit for $9 each. There is a clip you might need to, but those are $2 each.
Now, if they are going to take the carbs all apart, put in new jets, needles, and clean everything really good, plus synchronize them, it might be worth the $400.
However, you can probably find carb rebuilt kits that will include all new jets, needles, and gaskets for much cheaper than that. But you will not be able to synchronize them without a good set of vacuum gauges.

I had an old MG with two carbs- easy to synch- with a tool that measured suction - pretty cheap too- JC whitney? -you could also you a piece of fuel line and place one end on the cylinder and the other to your temple and do it by the rythym- not the most accurate but cars are easier that way.
I'm guessing that your breather tube is providing oil vapor, that your air filter is clogged and its working to hard too draw air in but it's getting oil fumes. The way your bike kicks out sounds like a fuel line problem- rust in tank, or in petcock and from there in the carb. The rust or sediment in the bowl can keep the float open so that it fills with gas and then overflows, and goes out an overflow tube, and or the rust in the fuel line or carb can limit the amount of gas getting in. The high revs provide more fuel to the bowl- but it also uses it up - case of which happens first! Clean and blow out the carbs, dismantle the petcock and check the filter screen in there (in tank), replace the air filter. Then start over!
If it is still a problem and the rest is clean- then check out electrical.
All bikes are different and mess up in their different ways.

I'm having this same problem...
Any luck on what was wrong. I'm having this same problem. My oil level is also higher than what I filled it to.
