Vulcan 500 LTD
I always follow the rules.
The only exception to the rule occurs when I make an exception to the rule not to make an exception to the rule and that only occurs under exceptional circumstances.

Honda CM400.....with drum brake front and rear.....

......like how much you "O Ring" puckers when you pull on the brake lever and suddenly the cable snaps........or why you should start off with a small bike equipped with big crash bars.
Always ask why.

Suzuki C50 - recently. But had been rising a 150cc Vespa for a while.

Yes, it's heavy for a starter and takes getting used to. Does dreaming about it every night count as additional riding experience though?

No, I wouldn't have done it any other way.

Was as follows for me:

2 days on a Buell Blast (250cc)
A week of time on a V-Star 650 Classic (650cc, partial owner)
Been on my 1200RT for 11 months now (1170cc, sole owner)

I'm a fast learner.
½ of a 03 Yamaha V-Star 650 Classic
All of a 06 BMW R1200RT

jeez, by next year the only left for you will be to ride an ICBM like Slim Pickens at the end of Dr. Strangelove.
