Problem with Fire

I tried to load a update from Mozilla last night and now I keep getting this when I try to open Firefox, any sugestions.
I have tried dumping Firefox then reloading. I can't seem to do a sys restore. and AOL is now connecting to internet when I turn on puter, without me opening.

Oh no, I thought you were having a problem with your bike catching on fire!

Do you get the error on any page you try to go to? Like if you type in www.google.com does it give the same error?

Where did you get the update from? Sounds like you managed to find yourself a nice virus.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

I get it on any page. Got update from Mozilla, or someone posing as them, appeared as icon for update avialable. Not sure how to do spyware scan. I was on MSN before it was MSN and was WEBTV so I am not too savey with computers. And Johnj that is site I used when I reloaded firefox and same prob.

To scan for spyware, click on the link below. It's a program called "Spybot". install it, update it, run a scan, remove problems and then immunise your system.
