#1 Unread post by btlegend »

hey all, i know a little about the engines of these motorcycles, but,....
....i need some answers, i have a little 250cc ( honda rebel engine ) i know its not an high out put engine but i know it can hit 85 mph on the highway ( other riders 250's same engine ),...the thing is when im out riding 55 - 60 mph its fine. when i hit 62, it starts choking, or cutting douwn. going douwn hill i can smooth out near 70. so whats the problem sound like to you guys..??? :(

Loose nut behind the handlebars?

Tune up? Air Filter? Spark Plugs? Spark Plug Wires? Fuel problems? Dirty carbs? Vacuum leaks? Loose wiring?

Could be a lot of things.

Do a thorough check-up
