2 Bikes, One Height

#1 Unread post by sasuke »

Hi everyone. Ok, I have a question. I have finally decided to get one of 2 bikes.

1. Kawasaki Ninja 250r
2. Hyosung GT250r

I hear from everyone that the Ninja is a Great Starter bike. It's probably one of the best. But, I like the look of the GT250r a lot more. With the GT250r, I probably wouldn't want a new bike for a long time.

With the Ninja 250r, it's not the best looking bike, even though it is still very sexy, it's sexy in it's own way. With the ninja 250r, I'll probably upgrade in a few years, when I have felt I am ready to move on to it's sisters, the 600's.

I would get the GT250r hands down, but I hear it's made for "taller" people. I am 5'0" and weight about 150lbs. I hear that the Ninja 250's are nice because you maintain the proper posture. Which is good for starting riders.

Is there anything I can do to make the GT250r Accommodate for my short Height and Weight? I'd like to go to a dealership and sit on one to test out, but I can't ride yet, and I'm afraid I might just buy it on the spot. lol. Well like once again, Thanks for your comments! Very much appreciated.

I think you need to just go sit on one to see how it fits. Ask the dealer if there is a safe way to lower the height a little if it is too tall for you.

If you are planning on paying with check or credit card, just leave them at home so you can't buy it on the spot!
