I love the idea of having a bluetooth helmet! Just not for phone calls, though. For the new MP3 players that are BT capable.

I do flight support work as a contractor for NASA and as such during missions, I'm on call 24 hours for the duration. I have to be reachable in case there are issues, and so, I have a Nolan N-102 with the NCOM bluetooth and it's a blessing. Twice now on seperate missions, I've been called back on the weekends to the office to work flight related issues.

I understand the need to get away from things, that's why I ride as well, but sometimes for one reason or another, some of us still need to be in contact with the world we left behind.

Also, something else ... I also ride with earplugs, but surprisingly it makes the speakers much more clear at high speeds. I think it's because the plugs cut out the low freq noise leaving the speach range more clear and unattenuated.

I have to admit the bluetooth technology does sound neat to a gadget geek like myself. However, I wonder how it would work in the rain?

All of the new Dainese helmets are BlueTooth integrated complete with battery, speaker and mic built in. It will not only receive calls, but will allow you to communicate with a passenger, or anyone in your group who is also BlueTooth capable. Due to thier carbon fiber and polycarbonate construction, they are still lighter than most other helmets. Cool stuff.
They are all designed and built at the Dainese factory...not re-badges like a lot of helmets today.
