 Remind me never to buy you a beer. I can only imagine what would happen then...

Nawww, I'm way more rabid about buttermilk. I blame the old woman down the road from grandmas that had a milk cow and a hand churn. Gallon o buttermilk was about 1$. little chunks of heart clogging butter floating in it..... Grandma grade cornbread..... Have that for dessert of an after church lunch that would make the bellies of 14 lumberjacks burst. mmmmmmm goood times.

Devon clotted cream for me. Mmmmmmmmm! - Spread it on milky scones with strawberry jam and just turn on, man!

Once, years ago, I could still take dairy products without biting everyone's head off and turning into a blood-sucking vampire. Sigh!

FFS. Using milk out of bags is like heating up chicken soup in a kettle. IS NOTHING SACRED?

Offtopically....

Clotted cream.

What is this stuff. I ask only because me and the wife (a trained cook, but not a chef) were watching some dumb cooking show last night and this came up as an ingredient. I asked what it was and she didn't know. I sure don't know, but have heard this mentioned all my life (mostly from British-type people).

So WTF is it? I'm going wildly guess that it's unsweetened whipped cream.

I hope so, my next best guess is disgusting.....
No Witnesses.... :shifty:

Maybe it's cream with blood in it. Blood infused with tons of extra platlets.
