I made a beerish like drink, but I didn't drink it.
Not until I evaporated a certain part of it then condensed it then collected the end product.
Then I drank it.
I still need to improve my recipe and my *shifty eyes* condensor.

I'm not a huge beer drinker (I prefer liquor), but my favorite standby beer would be Guinness - either on tap with a shot of Jameson's tossed in, or warm in one of those clever little self-drafting bottles.
Cheers,
Loonette

heh, throw in some Bailey's and you've got one hell of a drink. Just uhhh, drink it quick or you'll not want to drink it at all.Loonette wrote:I'm not a huge beer drinker (I prefer liquor), but my favorite standby beer would be Guinness - either on tap with a shot of Jameson's tossed in, or warm in one of those clever little self-drafting bottles.![]()

Besides, shine runners aren't that popular anymore down here. Now its the freaked out crank runners ya gotta watch out for. They'll run from ole' rosco p coltrian without thinkin about it.

I'll definitely give it a try sometime. I usually have a bottle of Emmett's sittin' around anyway (poor man's version of Bailey's, and less sugary).Ninja Geoff wrote:heh, throw in some Bailey's and you've got one hell of a drink. Something I've been enjoying a lot as of late:

Ecspecially their Pilsner. Though it's not listed on their site, I think it's an extremely limited run. I won a case of it in a raffle last time I went to their tasting night. $6 to get in and all the beer you can drink at no additional cost. That, and they send you home with a 4 pack of random beers they had left over from that weeks shipping. It's really a magical place.

FYI, the reason you gotta chug it is cause the bailey's/emmett's will curdle, so unless you like curds and way with your drink, chugalug!Loonette wrote:I'll definitely give it a try sometime. I was suprised to see this thread bumped back up!
Ive been on an english beer kick lately. Really starting to like brown ales like Newcastle, pale ales like Boddigtons, and porters like Fuller's London Porter. Great stuff.
Also ive discovered a couple new sam adams favorites. "Boston Ale" (great all around ale, very smooth.) And "Black Lager" (based on the german schwartzbier style, a really good brew)
