Honda 81 CB750C high idle

#1 Unread post by jk333 »

my CB750C has a high idle after it warms up (about 3000-3500 rpm). it's the DOHC 750CC with four carbs, does anybody know how to adjust the idle? any help would be great, thanks.

There should be a black knurled knob attached to a hose that attaches to the carbs that you can spin to adjust the idle.

Failing that there will be a screw on the side of one of them that you can adjust with a flathead.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.
