Normal leather needs some special care if it gets wet right?
Does water-resistant leather need any special care? Can you just let it hang dry and then put it in the closet?
I was looking at some leather jackets and noticed the Firstgear Scout IV and the Tourmaster Coaster II. The Tourmaster is a lot cheaper, but doesn't seem to be water-resistant. The Firstgear is more expensive, but they say it has this 'Kwik-Dry' water resistance thing. Is it actually effective? Which one would you recommend between these two? or would it be neither?
Finally, is there such thing as waterPROOF leather??
Thank you!

I have the Tour Master Coaster and I've ridden with it in the rain and haven't gotten wet unless I leave the vent zippers open or not zip all the way up. I haven't needed to do any special care/cleaning to it yet since warm water and some soap gets the job done should it get dirty. The downside is that the Coaster is a bit a heavy and can be a bit baggy after a while.
Check out FirstGear Earl leather jacket which is also a nice one to have.

I've heard a few people say they work some pure beeswax into the leather, as it waterproofs, without damaging the stitching... Personally I just use textile gear instead
