I'll ask around about the pricing on the 1050's tomorrow or Friday for you High_Side. I assume you're looking at the Speedtriple as opposed to the Sprint 1050, or the Tiger 1050?

I've already booked time off for 3 different ski trips in the next 2 months. I feel a little bad about asking for MORE time off. Really they should be hiring another service writer, and asking for the time off will convince them that they really need to hire more. But at the same time I need the money, so I gotta work the hours.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

I'm looking for an '08 Speedtriple (as they are slightly changed) or would consider a smokin' deal on a Sprint (as I could get down to just one bike for me). I've been looking south of the border and it's going to be tough to match the prices but if I can get close and stay in Canada I will.
I am going to wait until after the bike show but my top 5 at this point are:
SpeedTriple
Sprint
Griso 4-valver
BMW 800GS
StreetTriple
Depending on the bike I get I may or may not keep the Viffer for touring. I should be able to decide after the bike show. If the right deal comes along on something else in the meantime though.....
