Oil Problems on my 01 GFS600S

If it looks like mayonnaise, its got water in it either from condensation or from (in your case) some thieving scumbag. You should go back to where you bought the oil and complain loudly how they ripped you off, its highly likely it was someone at the shop (particularly if the shop is full of people)
If it was a return it should be possible to find out just who returned it
I hope you didn't do any damage to motor/oil pumps (the SACS engine has two)

I have had the same problem in both my 2001 and 2002 Suzuki Bandit GSF1200S and GSF1200K; the 2001 burned oil until I brought it back to the dealer to have the pistons and rings replaced and my present 2001 Bandit has only 2700 miles on it and is also burning oil; approximately one quart every three to four hundred miles. The reason this is happening is that the oil ports behind the oil rings on the pistons are larger then the oil rings them selves and are allowing oil to blow by the rings into the combustion chamber. If you Suzuki Bandit is still under warranty, bring it in now to have Suzuki fix it. This is a quality control issue which occurred in the assembly of the engine at the factory. This was and is an issue with the 2001 and 2002 Suzuki Bandits, Suzuki decided to do something about it in 2003 by posting a memo to Suzuki Manufacturers and Service Departments. Good Luck

There was a batch which didn't have any oil drain holes at all.
I'm not certain, but I think its an open warranty as a known problem it gets fixed when you complain about excessive oil consumption (don't think it would work if you had 50,000 plus miles on engine though )
I'm pretty sure there is an engine number series where it starts and finishes.
dealer will have he numbers
