Intruder parts question -= Does ANYONE know

#1 Unread post by Rebeccaatthewell »

what years of intruder 800s will have combatable seats? I am trying to find a replacement seat for my 93 and I have found an old (88) seat that looks like it might fit from the photo but I have no idea if is will. Is there anywhere I can go that can tell me what years will fit what bikes??

Thanks bunches
Becca

ive been in major arse pain since i bought my bike. the stock seat is an absolute brick. i got a mustang seat ive waited almost a month for and i get it this friday. ive read so many good things about em too that im sure it will be my favorite accessory added to the bike. pricey but i bet worth it. it couldnt have come at a better time with a road trip upstate planned for saturday.
duct tape huh? ha. sounds like you need it worse than me.

It was in GREAT condition until an entire tank full of gas leaked out into the seat and then when it dried out the seat began to split into pieces. I have the whole top of the seat covered in duct tape to try and slow down the splits. Unfortunatly, I can't afford a great seat like you are getting, :) (Congrats by the way ), so I keep searching ebay and has run across some deals, but without knowing what seats fit what years, I don't want to spend the money unless I know it will fit.
Thanks again for the link.

edit your posts and wise-a$$es like me cant break your shoes.
just kiddin. oh and ill be paying off the visa for a while for this add-on. 8)
have you taken a ride to some suzuki dealers to see the catalogues? they have some quality alternatives(gel seats) that are cheaper than the mustang and corbin seats.

edit: never ordered from this site but they are cheaper than walking in to the dealer i bet plus they have the year you are looking for:

There are probally some dealerships about 80 miles away. But mostly I have found that things are MUCH cheaper off the web, :D Thanks for the website. I have been googleing a lot, but haven't really found anything that would help yet. :)
