Wine Tours in NY

#402 Unread post by skipper »

I went on my first wine tour yesterday. It was fun, and much wine was consumed by all. Let me just say that we took a limo bus, so we weren't driving. But... There were actually people driving around doing wine tours!!!

If you never have been on a wine tour, let me just say that you sample about six different wines, and if you consume the beverage (rather than spitting it in the jug), you have about 1-2 glasses of wine per winery. Most people visit at least four wineries in a day, soooo... up to eight glasses may be consumed.

If you are looking to ride in the wine country of NY this summer, just be on the lookout for careless drivers who may have consumed a bit too much of the sweet nectar!!!

I slept in. I lay on the chesterfield (sofa; couch) and watched movies all day. I have a cold and I feel crummy. I figured the best thing to do was to veg today.

Well last night we worked at the crappiest New Years Eve party ever... Promoter's party, and it was way out of the way. We had 9 security guards, 2 DJs, a bartender, and 2 people to sell tickets/put on wristbands... You know how many people showed up???

8...

That's right, a total of 8 people showed up for the entire thing, and only 4 were left at midnight!

That had to have been the most boring time ever.

Ah well, at least we didn't get to... i mean, HAVE to break up any fights!

Glad to hear you did not get into any or have to break up any fights. It does sound boring. What line of work are you into, I guess I can find out by reading some of your other posts. Hope you New Year works out better threw the year.

Right now working a security gig part time, as soon as pending traffic crap goes away (as in dismissed as scheduled) I can pass a background check and get a job. Can't wait... As nice as it sounds to some people, sleeping 12 hours a day and just going to school gets really old really fast. I'd personally much rather work like I did the summer before last, three jobs, 72 days straight without a day off, some days working two jobs...
Ah well though, life goes on right?
Not nearly as much fun as you have though Patrick! lol

Cold and snowy here. Trixe seems to like to snooze on the Sportster.
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.
