I had my first day back at work today after 8 months off. I'm on a graduated return to work...which means 4 hours a day every other day for the first couple of weeks.
Thankfully it's possible to do a graduated return....I was bagged after 4 hours. I was also achy....but I have tomorrow to rest up and go to work again Friday.

Blues- Does this mean there's hope of seeing you back on a bike later this year?blues2cruise wrote:I had my first day back at work today after 8 months off.

The significant change from the last time I tried to move the bike was that I was able to move the bike without the torso hurting. That gave me big hope.
Today I feel like a piece of ----. It will just take some getting used to going to work.

I went to my rehab place for my exercises. I fell.
I have been telling this therapist that some of the things she wants me to do hurt me. Well...today she saw first hand....I lost my balance and could not regain it thus I fell. I now have a doozy bruise.
On the plus side.....I maneuvered my bike into my neighbour's parking space across the garage from me. I got it connected to the charger and the bike is now charging.
Now I'm going to pick up dr_bar so we can go to meeting....but while I am there I will ask him to change a wiper blade for me. There are some things that require more strength than I have...and a stuck wiper blade is one of them.

Don't think you were around when it happened, but a while ago, she crashed... Took her out of the game for quite a while... But she's slowly getting back into it, and none of us are anything but happy about it!
Glad to hear you're feeling better and better!

Thanks for posting. Oh, yes...I will be glad when I can finally get riding again. Right now I just needed to get the battery charged so that I could start the bike. I have fuel stabilizer to put in the tank so I need to be able to run the bike to get the additive working its way through the system. Then I can top up the tank to reduce the possibilty of condensation building up in the tank.Wrider wrote:Don't think you were around when it happened, but a while ago, she crashed...
