ummmm...ahh..married men hit on women all the time. I think both genders are guilty of it.Wrider wrote: My partner was hitting on one of two girls, and the other girl was hitting on me. Felt pretty darn good about myself, she was cute and all. Turns out she was just playing, why do women hit on other guys when they have a bf???

VISTA!?!?!?!?!?!?! Oh please, someone give him a hearty smack across the back on his head for me. God, I have Vista on my Think Pad and damn thing is such a resource pig, that it eats up at 7% of my battery life just loading, and that is after I've cleaned out a lot dodo from the start up menu. Do yourself a favour, it you are going Windows, though god knows why, go XP Pro.JC Viper wrote:Even better, I'm getting Windows Vista Home Premium. I've been running it in my main PC rig and it is fine. Plus Mac OS X 10.5.2 isn't playing nicely with my programs that were supposed to work with OS X. Besides I have Kaspersky Internet Security. The OS X will be used when using public routers.Kibagari wrote:Did you seriously just tell me that you're going to put Windows on that fine machine? You're going to sell out that wonderful little thing to spyware, malware, and viruses just so you can screw around with Bill Gates?JC Viper wrote:
My MacBook was pretty cheap thanks to the discounts I got, plus I don't have to waste time with authorized repair centers should something go wrong, I can just go to the Apple store and let them deal with it. Those were the reasons why I chose this instead of the ThinkPad.
The ThinkPad had that cool flat black look but girls do like the look of my glossy white machine plus it's only 1.08in. thick. I'm gonna install Windows on it anyway. Now do I trade in my Vulcan for a Vespa to go for the SoHo look to go with my MacBook...
Please, at least tell me you're putting XP on it.
Always ask why.

Had one of those, it fell off my belt while riding, hit the ground at a good 50 MPH and got run over to add insult to injury. Still worked when I got turned around and went to pick it up. Like to see my Crackberry do that today.
Always ask why.

Cold??? It was 23°C in our part of the world on Saturday...

We don't pay attention to the "Official" weather reports, they're taken from the Vancouver airport which is situated right on the coast with that cool off-shore breeze....
73.4 degrees Fahrenheit for those that need the conversion...

Just 10 years? I think that's great, Geoff. There is a good deal to be said for the older woman.Ninja Geoff wrote:i drank. and bowled. and hit on a girl 10 years older than me.

On other, better news, later this week, I'm going downtown (in the next town over) to the fire house there. My friend Dan's mother is friends with one of the firefighters there. We're going to talk about what it'd take to get on as a callforce member of the Greenfield Fire Department! Hopefully this EMT cert will give me an edge :crossesfingers: I may (omghopefully) be changing my name to Ninja Firefighter
