hello to all.
im 17, and my parents have recently bought me a 2005 Kawasaki zx-6r. i start the BRC (i think equivalent to MSF?) on monday.

ha. who am i kidding. my parents would never buy me that bike.
my dad actually owns a 1982 yamaha SR250, and a 1979 Kawasaki kz400. i will probably be riding the yamaha for the first year of my riding. i am very excited. my dad took me out for the first time tomorrow, and what a thrill driving it. i do start classes on monday.
great site.
peace.

Welcome to the forums. You'll love the rider course. It's cool your dad rides, too. Enjoy your rides together!

Welcome to TMW.

It's nice to have your dad to ride with and show you how to ride responsible. Ride safe, keep the rubber side down.

Great first choice in bike! (the SR, that is - not the zx6r!! ;))

make sure you keep us all up-to-dat on your progress!
Don't give up.

Not now, not soon, not after being continually knocked down.

If you never give up, you can never truly fail.
