Gratz on saving up enough! I live in NYC too, and I'm wondering where you decided to park your bike and how much you're paying (if you don't mind sharing, that is).

When I get a bike, I'm toying with the idea of keeping it somewhere off the Metro North line slightly out of the city so I can learn in less traffic, etc.
There is parking in the basement of my building (116th street). So, I believe I have to pay an extra $75 dollars for the motorcycle..

You could always join a nearby health club and shower and change into your suit after the ride in. They might even rent you a permanent locker where you could store your suits.

Ah! Wearing a suit to work. I can count on one hand all the suits I ruened when the polyester pants melted on the exhaust pipe.

Now if they paid me enough to buy a wool suit, this would never have happened.
