How to stop shirts riding up when riding?

#1 Unread post by Rebeccaatthewell »

I notice when I ride in the summer (no heavy jacket) my shirt likes to fly up from the wind. Other than stuff my shirts in my pants whick I hate, any ideas on how to keep it down?? :D
Thanks

When I saw this in the ladies lounge, it seemed like the perfect opportunity for this:

While this is the Ladies Lounge, I feel I must provide a counterpoint to Bruce's post.

Get a perforated leather or mesh jacket. This will allow air to flow through to keep you cool, protect you from road rash and give you the added benefit that your shirt will stay where it's supposed to.

I was going to say exactly what Gryphon said. A mesh jacket is great, it's cool and gives you the protection, and it will also keep the shirt in!!!

My wife just bought a Joe Rocket (she says it ought to be Josephine Rocket) "Cleo" mesh jacket at motorcyclecloseouts.com, which is online and here in Kansas City.

It isn't hers until after he class and lincensing, and until she is ready to loosen up the purse-strings for me to get a new bike.

You're looking at it all wrong!!!

Once she has the Buell, she will realize how much getting a new bike would mean to you, and will go straight to the bank to make all the arrangements!!

Definately a win, win situation for you :D

I have that same Joe Rocket mesh jacket and love it, but Mine is silver.

I agree, Very nice bike!! I'm sorry I didn't look more at the Buell's. I love my Boulevard S40, its great for me just begining. Very forgiving for stupid beginer mistakes.
