Had a question of compatability with height and bikes. im about 5'3'' and was wondering if it was possible that i fit on a yzf-r6 and be able to ride it height wise?

It's all about the inseam. I'm 5'7 but have a 32 inch inseam. Best bet is to go and sit on a few. If your feet don't touch the ground, pass.

Don't try the R6 if you haven't ridden yet. Too much bike for a beginner.

Take the MSF and check out used rides first (buy one and ride it for a season or TWO). THEN you can shop for whichever shiny new ride strikes your fancy.

I am 5'4" and the R6 is too big for me. The only way I could ride it would be to lower the seat but that cuts the performmance down or it makes the seat too uncomfortable (if you shave a couple inches off the seat).

Either way please do not consider this a good first bike. If you have never ridden before please start off with a more forgiving bike.

yeah i definitely would go with that. and to state something that might seem dumb, its always good to go and actually ride the bike if you can. because i imagine there wouldnt be anything that would suck more than bringing one home and after a while deciding that its just not the right bike for you.
Go fast on something not meant for it. Then you'll understand the true meaning of speed.
