Hello New Friends

#1 Unread post by Wizzard »

I am neither new to scoots or to forums ,as a matter of fact I moderate on several forums some of which are graphix ones , however I am new to this board . So permit me to introduce my self ; My name is Wizzard and I was given that name 30 years ago by a very wonderful lady . That's a story for another day . Cause if I told ya now , I'd have to kill ya .. . :lol:
Been riding 2 wheel vehicles of one kind or another for 47 years , with the gaps that we all experience for one reason or another .
I live in Fresno , California and been with my spousette Tweety for 22 years . She rides her own scoot . And we have 3 dogs , 4 cats , & 2 snakes . We both love to ride , altho at this juncture of my life my riding is limited for the simple fact that last year I had two procedures on my back prior to a serious back surgery in November .
Looking ahead to two more back surgeries this year . My surgeon finally consented to my riding with the proviso that I limit it to town and no long distance puttin' .
So to my way of thinking , I can accept being a "Boulevard Cruiser" much better than being told ;"You can't ever do that again " meaning riding of course .
Anyway , no doubt in my mind that the condition of my back is the result of my years in the construction trade and many years of riding rigid chops .
I call you new friends because I have never met a stranger . I am a digital graphic artist as a hobbiest and it is the best damn free therapy in the world . For me at least . The WWW link is to my private gallery . Come wander around if you get the notion sometime.
Currently I ride a 1996 Suzuki Intruder , 800cc full custom .
Will post pictures probably this evening . Yeah , so it's a billet barge..........so what ?.........lmao cause at my age it ain't no big thing .
I call her (da scoot) Miz Thang , cause she's all that .
Looking forward to getting to know you peeps and sharing what I can when I can .
With the kindest regards, Wizzard
:wink:
quick peek ;

Looks like you got it handled, or do you still need help? Nice bike, by the way!
