suprise suprise

#11 Unread post by Gentle Giant »

I'm 6'6" and 280 lbs. I am looking to get a new bike too. I went around to a bunch of dealers the other day to sit some bikes and see what felt right. Unfortunately nothing felt really comfortable for me. But, the sportser was the one I was the most comfortable on. It had a higher seat than all the other cruisers and seemed to put my feet in a good position. The second best was a Honda Shadow. Go sit on the Sportster and see how you fit. It suprised me.
Why must my knees hit the handlebars?

News Flash: All Harleys - including the entire Sportster lineup - are now fuel injected. There are no more idle screws to adjust.
Out of curiosity, how do you adjust the idle, then? Every vehicle with EFI I've seen has an idle-adjust screw.

The only bike I know of that has drive-by-wire throttle is the Aprilia Shiver.
