You will have trouble reaching highway speeds by yourself if you're 120 pounds.

Absolute top speed on it is about 70-75 mph, meaning that if you're on the highway at 60 mph you have very little room to accelerate, and you have to do so at wide open throttle.

I suggest newbies look at 500-750cc cruisers for first cruisers.

You want to ride with a passenger then I'd suggest getting a used Vulcan 500 or V-Star 650. The Vulcan is powerful yet also pretty tame.

Vulcan can handle a passenger and still run well but overall space is tight if it is a adult passenger.

For a single rider, its great for short rides (one hour or less) on the interstate or in town. This is due to the seat, which is a issue for all bikes of this size.

My Vulcan will run as fast as my bother in laws C50 but the C50 is much more comfortable and has greater options to pick from which is a problem for many 500 cc bikes or less.

I just mentioned the Vulcan since it is lighter and a bit more manageable than many 800cc bikes.
