Beards, Growing a beard, your beard, and beards plus

#1 Unread post by Skier »

Let's talk about beards.

 I can't grow a decent beard: when I am unshaved, it's a scary neckbeard. That's why I'm clean shaven except when taking a motorcycle trip.

Shaving stuff take up valuable space that could be spent carrying whiskey!

I've worn a beard for most of my adult life. I do keep it trimmed up though.

I like the scruffy look myself. I shave about once every 2 wks. I'm 5' 9" and about 165 lbs. and when I'm clean shaven the youngsters don't give me any respect. When I've got some growth I just stare at them and they move out of my way. I must look like a wild man!
I always follow the rules.
The only exception to the rule occurs when I make an exception to the rule not to make an exception to the rule and that only occurs under exceptional circumstances.

So I last shaved on Friday night. No, not last Friday, the one before, and most people can't even tell I have any facial hair.
Seriously, I have one of those razors they send in the mail as a promotional sample. I've used all 4 of the original blades sent with it and am working on the first blade in the first refill pack I bought for it. I've had the thing for 3, almost 4 years now!
What you guys spend in a month of shaving I spend in a decade!

i have a pretty good goatee.... although its red...Im trying to figure out why i have dirty blond hair and a red goatee..... it confuses me.... I get my barber to trim it when I get a haircut...cause thats when you notice how crooked it is...staring at your face for 20 minutes while getting th ehaircut.

Apparently I can't grow a real beard. It looks like Shaggy's from the Scooby Doo cartoons with just a little on the chin, and then more consistently under the jaw region. If I let it go it'd look goofy as heck because the sides don't really fill in at all.

I could to the moustache thing, but I'm not going to be sportin' a 'stache.

I got the same Shaggy style beard going but for some reason the hairs are starting to increase in numbers. All I want is a 5 o'clock shadow to go along with my "sweaty mess" styled hair... so action hero like. Too bad I am asian so I get the typical sharp stubby mustache thing going on and I have to shave it every 2 days.

Mustache fart!
