It will get better with practice. Promise. :)

If you get a chance to snap a picture of your new bike, how about posting in your thread for all to see. :)

:happybikeday: and :welcome4: to TMW!

I still stall sometimes. Today I had a great opportunity to practice clutch control, as I was in a prolonged traffic jam. The scenery was pretty, too, next to rolling horse farms. I was in friction-zone heaven, and I needed the practice!

I didn't like being in the friction zone, that's why I sold the Zuke and bought this.

Welcome to the board. Bunch of friends and I love riding down to Western PA for weekend riding adventures. Some great roads through the Allegheny National Forest and surrounding areas.

Enjoy your new ride. Practice that FRICTION ZONE on the clutch. Should help you a little with the stalling.

Practice that FRICTION ZONE on the clutch
If you're talking to bearcat, he's traded in his clutch for a twist'n'go! Me, on the other hand, still have a clutch and, yep, still need to practice. But I can't say it's all me. The bike is stalling lately when stopped in traffic, the clutch pulled all the way in. Some friends have fiddled with the idle a couple of times, don't know if that's the problem. It's due for it's 6,000 mile service soon, so I will let them know.
