new and used

#1 Unread post by ladydinah »

Hello Everyone! Another newbie to the forum, and it's great to be here. I called this new and used because I've been riding for a few years, but still havent' gotten used to taking better care of my bike...so I'll be asking lots of questions about how to get it started! or whether my battery is dead, or my engine caked up with carbon...beautiful day today, and I couldn't get her out of the garage. Boo Hoo. That's what I get for being negligent.
Looking forward to learning. 8) 8)

:welcome2: to TMW.

Enjoy the forums. :)

If you have mechanical issues we have a forum for general maintenance and troubleshooting. You will probably get lots of help in there. :)

Hey guys,
Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm sorry it took me so long to reply... everything was originally sent to my spam folder (BAD SpAm!!) and I didn't see it right away.
But I am here now, still trying to start my bike. But I have ordered a new battery, and am hopeful that 12 volts will give me the jolt I need. Yeah! I will strap it in tomorrow, and let you know how it goes. After all, a motorcycle is like a friend, and will respond to careful love and attention just the way you hope it will.
Am I right?
