super pocket bikes

#1 Unread post by Bullitt »

Hello,
I am new to this forum, and my question may be a little off the norm. I've ridden for years, but now are looking for a "toy" to get my son started. hes 16 and small in stature. From what i've seen, an X22 super poket bike would be a perfect size. Has anyone tried to register one?? All the web sights that sell them say it's very possible. (depending on local laws).
I live in Wa. state. any advice, or help would be great.

I would really worry about the quality of this sort of bike. My recommendation would be to look at scooters since they come in plenty of sizes for people of most sizes and plenty of engine sizes.

As for licensing in WA State, I live here also, but don't know the answer. A quick call to the department of licensing would give you the answer you need.

I seriously doubt that you would be able to get one of those licensed for the street.

I'd look for an older enduro or standard 250, or something of that nature, to start a teen on.
