Well it should be on the left side of the bike, around the shock areh, eight where that thick chrome line runs. That's on most bikes though, I don't know where the hell it is on a nighthawk. You just use your bike key to lock the helmet in place using the metal strap hoop on it(helmet). At least that's what I figured out, LOL.

Thanks guys! I just got back from my first ride. Went to stadium parking lot and practiced some msf stuff. I learned more about the Nighthawks brakes and weight...then I went out for a 12 mile ride. It is awesome!
One tiny thing. I have perfect vision, 20/12 actually...but looking into the horizon thru the helmet shield kinda made it seem like i was wearing very light prescription glasses. Is this normal?
It didnt make it dangerous or anything, but i just hope I get used to it.
Helmet is an HJC cl-sp

It's just one of the qualities of the face shield. No plastic/glass/etc shield can ever transfer light 100% effectively, but they get really close. Because of your good sight, you probably notice it more than others. I did the same thing when I first started and yeah, you get used to it really quickly!
