Ride it like ya stole it

#1 Unread post by Misguided Missle »

Took My first ride when IKE was in office.
Started racing when LBJ was making a mess of things.
Broke my first bone, and had to stay home and watch the moon landing

I ride 100 miles a day, 5 days a week, 11 months a year (take Aug off, no rain, no fun)

Aint gonna stop until soccer mom, or deisel dan takes me out

Oh yeah, ride the coolest machine, that no one has ever heard of

:welcome:

That is a SWEET GV650! I hadn't seen the anniversary model before. I've eyeballed the GV as a second bike. What are your overall impressions?

Light, good speed, best fuel mileage Ive seen yet in a 650 machine.

They should have called it a Sport/Cruiser. It out classes not only the other 650s, but some of the 800s. 74-80 ponies to the rear wheel feels good when you need it. Belt drive is slow to transfer power.

This spring when the GV1000 come in, Im the first one in line for it. Besides the extra cubes, Fuel Injection, chain drive and a 6 speed gearbox is gonna hurt the 1000cc Cruiser class bad. :-)
