RhadamYgg
Its a super-motard version of the 230cc dualsport.
There is no such thing as a bad motorcycle.

Sadly, with that price, I can see it vanishing from the US market in a couple of years.
You mean like the Triumph "Bison"? AKA Vision?

Grey Thumper, Kawasaki also has the Versys, which is based off the ER-6n.

........seems like manufacturers are more willing to cater to people who don't want a cruiser or sportbike, or sport tourer, or whatever. Some of use just want to ride a motorcycle.
Not anymore. Honda's entire USA 2009 street lineup consists of:
  • cruisers at 250, 750, 1300, and 1800 cc.
a 650cc dual sport, and a 230cc bike in dual sport and supermoto models
    the Goldwing and the ST1300
race replicas at 600 and 1000 cc.
    an antique  (Nighthawk 250)
    the Gen 6 VFR.......still... :frusty:
    an abomination (DN-01) :puke:
No Hornet. No standards at all (except that antique....). No adventure tourers, no naked sportbikes, etc.

Go Honda. :sleepy:

Mrs. and I were at a Honda dealership this afternoon (no need to name names). I asked the salesman how many DN-01's he expected to sell? "None." He said they might get one in as a curiousity - it will draw in shoppers to gawk at it - but no one will buy. It's way overpriced for what it is.

He's also quite disgusted at Honda's thinned-down product line. Hard to make money marketing a franchise without products.....

jstark47 wrote:DN-01 is overpriced. I can get a standard (non-ABS) ST1300 for the same money! But the pricing problem is typical for Honda - why their USA market share continues to erode, IMO.

p.s. It's fugly, too!!!!
After looking at pictures of it... I think I'm agreeing with you on the fugly issue...
